American Idol Season 2Season 2 of American Idol - a great show, complete with great (and not so great) singers, sarcastic remarks by Simon and a good dose of controversy. I bet Fox couldn't ask for a better season. American idol 2 brought us some great singers like Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken as well as a few others. It also had a lot more controversy than the first show, though the first show didn't really have any controversy if you think about it. The second show though had plenty! From contestant Frenchie Davis being disqualified over topless photos to Corey Clark's alleged affair with Paula Abdul. And even the very finale itself - the system used for voting couldn't handle all the phone calls so not everyone could vote. Who knows, maybe Ruben didn't actually win! Regardless, that's ancient history by now. But what matters is that second season had lots of great performances, and you can listen to those american idol songs right here!
